Having become the leading supplier of Superyacht protective coatings, Tribos did not immediately enter the Automotive market. Delighted Superyacht customers, who often also own Business Jets, asked if Tribos could also protect the paint and glass of their other “Pride and Joy” their Business Jets.
From the Dassault Falcoln, to the Lear Jet, the Norweigan Coast Guard Helicopters, and several smaller aircraft all over the world, Tribos extended its reputation as the leading paint and glass protective coating for the Aviation market.

Finally Tribos was asked to take part in a “shoot-out” by Nissan Technical Centre Europe to find the best and most effective paint and glass protection for the pride of the Nissan Fleet, the Nissan GT-R. Having completed their testing, the technical team gave the results to the Marketing team, who gave it to the legal team who approved the following headline on Nissan’s own brochure – Tribos was in the Automotive Business!
Now Tribos supplies and works with most automotive manufacturers and their dealerships somewhere in the world – The heritage of the Tribos products, nurtured in the marine and aviation environments, is the reason why Tribos has become the International byword for strength and integrity in the protective coatings markets.
